Maintenance steps of magnetic pump
The magnetic pump has become one of the main equipments for transporting precious liquids or high-risk liquids because it far exceeds the sealing performance of the canned pump. In order to maintain the performance of the pump in a good state, it is necessary to master the correct maintenance process of the fluoroplastic magnetic pump. , in addition to ensuring the stability of the transportation state, it can also significantly improve the service life of the pump. Equipment users should formulate a periodic maintenance plan according to the frequency of use of the pump. When carrying out the maintenance process of the fluoroplastic magnetic pump, the following matters can be referred to. In addition, for new pumps that have just been installed, the necessary inspections should also be carried out before starting up.
- First clean up the surrounding environment of the magnetic pump, and sort out enough space for subsequent maintenance;
- Check the connection of the power supply of the motor wire, check whether the impeller rotates flexibly, avoid jamming or abnormal noise, and check whether each fastener is loose;
- The rotation direction of the motor needs to be the same as the direction marked on the magnetic pump;
- Test run for about 5 minutes first to ensure that there is no abnormality before using it formally. Before running, pay attention to the pump should be filled with a certain amount of liquid to avoid idling;
- Monitor the parameters of the pump in the running state, pay attention to whether the pressure fluctuation is within the standard, and avoid the flow rate being too low. If the flow rate is too low, it may cause insufficient cooling and cause abnormal temperature rise;
- Note that the motor current value cannot exceed the rated current in the running state, and the temperature of each part of the pump should also be within the normal range;
- If the pump produces abnormal sound or vibration, it is usually caused by cavitation and bearing damage. If necessary, the pump can be disassembled and checked.
